About Us
Our Story
Our vision is to see a better Nigeria, a Nigeria that feels safe, a Nigeria where youths are empowered to start their own businesses, a Nigeria we all desire and hope for
Stories From Nigeria was born out of the growing pains Nigeria experienced in 2020 – police brutality, riots, unemployment, hunger, political instability, and safety concerns. We’re pursuing this vision by partnering with you to change one life at a time.
Stories From Nigeria is a non-profit organization inspired by God and Humans of New York. Our mission is to share real stories from real people, with the ultimate goal of changing their lives. Each story highlights someone’s life journey, aspirations, and a call to action of how you – the reader – can make a positive influence in their life today.
We’re making a promise that 100% of donations you make will go directly to the storytellers and their work. Storiesfromnigeria is transparent by default. We’re committed to sharing monthly updates and details about our finances and operations.
We’re honored that you’d partner with us and we promise to steward your resources well.
